New England is well known for fall foliage, lobster rolls, light houses, and rocky shorelines. While I love all of those things about New England, it also has so much more to offer.
Exploring Acadia and Bar Harbor
During the summer of 2021, Teddy and I spent a week traveling through New England. One of the top stops on our trip was to Acadia National Park. Neither of us had been here before, so this was a new National Park for both of us. It’s my 36th and Teddy’s 12th.
A 2021 Travel Recap
This year, Teddy and I explored 22 states together and then we each took a trip with friends; Teddy went to Kansas for a hunting trip and I went to the Texas panhandle. We took a week long road trip through New England, and then one to South Carolina for his mater’s degree graduation from Clemson. The rest of our travels were either over weekends or during holidays when we already had off.

There’s still time to see beautiful fall colors this fall. Because of some of the more recent warmer temperatures, there are many locations where the leaves haven’t peaked yet.
