Part two of the 1700s date night was a candlelight tour in downtown Lititz. Even though I grew up here I had no idea that the town started as a “closed” Moravian community and that marriages were initially chosen by lottery. Learned so much more on this tour and it made my history heart so happy. Date night tonight was 1700’s themed. First stop was the annual holiday bonfire at the Landis Valley Village & Farm Museum. This is one of my favorite events during in the Christmas season. Last few weeks in November. Quiet, slow, intentional, and full of abundance. Prairies & Parishes Road Trip: Day 7 (Last Day)
