Exploring Acadia and Bar Harbor
During the summer of 2021, Teddy and I spent a week traveling through New England. One of the top stops on our trip was to Acadia National Park. Neither of us had been here before, so this was a new National Park for both of us. It’s my 36th and Teddy’s 12th.
A 2021 Travel Recap
This year, Teddy and I explored 22 states together and then we each took a trip with friends; Teddy went to Kansas for a hunting trip and I went to the Texas panhandle. We took a week long road trip through New England, and then one to South Carolina for his mater’s degree graduation from Clemson. The rest of our travels were either over weekends or during holidays when we already had off.
Hiking the Endless Wall Trail
The trail is 2.3 miles from point to point. It’s not a loop trail, so if you want to go back to the start, you can either go the way you came, or walk along the road back to the parking lot.
Hiking to the Natural Bridge in Kentucky
The Original Trail is the most popular trail to get to the Natural Bridge. It starts by the gift shop and then is uphill to the trailhead. From there, you climb 400 or so feet to end up under the Natural Bridge.
