There are so many incredible hikes in Pennsylvania. What you’ll find below are some of my favorites across the state. Most hikes are 1-3 miles and each tends to have a feature like a stream, waterfall, or great view along the hike. Some are loops while others are an out and back. From the trailhead to the Mike Lynch Overlook is not far, but it is steep. You gain about 600 feet elevation in only .7 miles.
We predicted that we would have no cell service here so we made sure to read over the info on Yost Run Falls prior to getting there so we knew where we were headed. I’m not trying to get lost in a place known as the “wilds”.
