I shared when I talked about my Winter List that I was trying to find ways to savor the winter season rather than desiring to skip it completely. One of the ideas on my list was to host a Winter meal prep day with friends. The intention of the day is to make a few freezable meals that you can either quickly pop in the oven or crockpot on a busier day or week, make meals to give to others, or just have something in the freezer you know you like that you can look forward to.
I’m not a big Taylor Swift fan but I must admit I’m in my crockpot era. I really savor time, so when I can save time on something I don’t love doing so that I can invest it in something I do love, that’s a win.
Now for the cost breakdown of everything in the room that I didn’t already own.
As you can see, it could be done on less if you have some things around the house you’re already able to use. For me, the biggest update was the paint for the walls and ceiling as well as the new fan and light-switch.
I heard somewhere that every room in your house should have something old, something new, and something green so that’s what I keep in mind when I decorate.
