A few years ago I was struggling when it came to reading the Bible. I either didn’t do it, or I tried and wasn’t really sure where to start. I would sometimes start “In the beginning” and then by Exodus get really bored and stop.
Since that time, I’ve found a few really helpful resources to not only help guide me through various parts and themes of the Bible, but that I look forward to using. The two companies I’ll share a little about below both have quite a few options for Bible Study plans and are both offered electronically and in a physical book.

She Reads Truth
Background
The first one I want to talk about is She Reads Truth. This has been the company I’ve used for a little over five years to purchase studies as well as Bibles. I started purchasing their studies before they had a beautiful matte finish cover, recipes and songs as supplements, and questions for further reflection. The OG studies were great, but I am SO thrilled with how beautiful their books have become. The book in itself is a piece of art.
If you have a man in your life that is interested in digging deeper into the bible, they also have a He Reads Truth line. Each study that comes out for women is also designed with different covers and books but focused on the same content. They also have Bibles from the He Reads Truth line too.
Structure
The books are setup in a weekly structure. They tend to be between 2-12 weeks long. Some are based on a theme (thanksgiving, grace, women of the Bible) while others are focused on a specific book. They start out with the first 5 days of the week being specific old and New Testament readings and then the 6th day is a Grace Day with the 7th day being a Weekly Truth day. The Grace Day is to catch up on what you may have missed during the week and then to focus on a few verses that day. The Weekly Truth day is focused on scripture memorization. There’s a card at the back of the book with each of the memory verses on it. And the intention is that by the end of the study you have a few new key verses memorized.
Extras
They include recipes, song lyrics as well as infographics in the book which all add to the content you’re reading. I don’t always make the receipts or play the songs, but I love the infographics since I’m a visual learner.
App
They also have an app with free and for purchase studies if you’d prefer that over the book. The ones for purchase are usually a few dollars. These have devotional after each day which has been helpful for me when they add more context to the readings. I have done quite a few where I purchase the book but still use the app to go through the daily reflections after the readings.
If you’re interested in one of their studies, you should be able to use this link for $5 off your next study.

Daily Grace Go
Background
The second company I want to share is the Daily Grace Co. I started purchasing studies from them about 1 year or so ago. They have a similar setup that you can purchase books or use the app, but there are some helpful differences between the setup of the two studies.
Structure
These are set up in a similar fashion to She Reads Truth. It’s focused on a book or a theme, and there’s daily readings and questions. What I specifically like about this one is that you read the entirety of the book at the beginning and end of some of the plans (Nehemiah for example), and that there’s also more specific questions applicable to the text as well as a summary at the end of week week.
Extras
They also have some great illustrations and summaries as well as some illustrations. The art and infographics I find that I like better in She Reads Truth, but again, I’m very visual so that’s likely why.
App
When you buy the study online, you get a free code for the study in the app which is nice. Otherwise, the studies are about $15 compared to those that are around $3 in the She Reads Truth app.

There are quite a few other studies you can check out online but these two have the biggest selection and have been my favorites. If you want to see others, I’ve linked a few others below:
How you dig deeper into the bible doesn’t matter. What matters is you’re spending time with Him in his word. If you already have a great system to spend time with Him each day, keep going! These resources above are for those who want to try something new, want to dig deeper into a specific book or theme or are looking for a place to start.
If you have any recommendations of other companies to check out, let me know what they are in the comments. Thank you!
