Catch the Butterflies: How to Turn Knowledge Into Application

If you’re not someone who likes taking notes, just try it. My excuse is often I’m too busy, too distracted, I don’t have a notebook with me, or that I’m more focused on finishing than I am remembering. The reality is that the journey is more important than the destination and I can have either results or excuses, not both.

Contentment, Wintering & A Puppy

To be quite honest, I really don’t love winter and January is a hard month for me. I love to be outside but do not love being cold. I love the sun and warmth. Finding ways to savor the winter season rather than wish it away is something I’ve tried to be very intentional about this year.

My Goals for 2022

I didnโ€™t want to do really anything drastically differently than I do now, I just wanted to do it more consistently and intentionally. So I broke down my word of the year into 4 directional goals for what Iโ€™d like to be.

WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING FOR?

One of my favorite hikes to date ๐ŸŒฒ๐Ÿฅพ Our wild child ๐Ÿถโค๏ธ Adventure always ๐Ÿฅพ๐Ÿ—บ๏ธ Hiking in French Creek State Park! Beautiful even in the winter. Happy Gotcha Day Remington! ๐Ÿถ๐Ÿพ Third camping trip in the books! I was BEYOND nervous for this trip. Weโ€™ve only ever traveled about an hour with our RV so far and not up mountains. Getting to State College included some steep mountains which had me very anxious. Lots of prayers happened this week for a safe trip and to calm our stress about it. God had it covered. We had a wonderful trip and am so thankful for @teddyfisher.wildlifephotos who knows how to drive the rig and for his parents for helping out with Bailey and hanging out with us for the weekend. First time we had 4 people and a pup sleep in the camper! All in all, great trip! ๐Ÿ๐Ÿˆ๐Ÿ’™ Second camping trip complete! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ๐ŸŒฒAnd Bailey got to come along this time. We are continuing our learning on what to pack, what to leave at home, and our โ€œstyleโ€ of camping. ๐Ÿถ First weekend camping in the new RV complete. We camped about 20 minutes from home at a great campground with mini golf, a pond, fire pits, and a dog run. Looking forward to doing it again next weekend in a new spot. We make our own adventure ๐Ÿš๐ŸŒฒ
